Taking Stock with Teens

Piper Sandler releases its semi-annual report featuring teen shopping behaviors, discretionary spending trends, and brand preferences. Top brands in clothing, footwear, 美, restaurants, and snacks are highlighted, as well as Z一代’s top social causes. Daily video consumption and favorite social media platforms are reported too.

Two findings stood out:

  • Male teen spending is up, while female teen spending down especially in apparel and shoes
  • The environment has become the top social cause and inflation is second.
